The Opportunity
As an Account Executive at VoPay, you will be responsible for selling VoPay’s innovative Fintech-As-A-Service platform and related services to Enterprise clients in different industries, primarily in Canada and the US. This position will work closely with:
  • Marketing team on converting generated leads into signed customers.
  • Implementation Specialists and Account Managers for client handoff once the contract is signed.
  • VP of Sales to ensure targets and KPIs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the sales performance including prospecting, lead qualification, customer development, exceeding sales quotas and representing VoPay with the highest degree of advocacy and professionalism.
  • Partner with the Marketing team to execute sales cycles against inbound and targeted outbound prospects.
  • Supplement Biz Development with your own high volume of prospecting activity.
  • Identify clients' challenges and leverage your product expertise to offer appropriate solutions.
  • Collaborate with all VoPay teams to drive personal and company success including Marketing, Technical solutions, Onboarding, and Customer Success.
  • Use HubSpot to record and update all applicable sales cycle activity, progress and pipeline to ensure accurate and timely reporting and analytics.
  • Adhere to the VoPay standards of system use, sales cycle management and sales certification including identifying and reporting improvements to drive performance across the Team.

Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in a quota-carrying Sales Executive or equivalent role, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets;
  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor Science degree;
  • Extensive experience as a sales professional in FinTech and/or SaaS industries;
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce to manage pipelines and track sales performance;
  • Demonstrated success in identifying, qualifying, capturing, and closing complex sales within companies of 1,000+ employees;
  • Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, Engineering departments, and key decision-makers across organizations;
  • Strong, self-driven mentality is essential; experience in a mid-stage start-up is a plus;
  • A passion for delivering customer success—dedicated to securing the right outcomes and acting as a true advocate for clients;
  • Excellent team spirit and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams, building consensus and driving results;
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills (fluent in English), with the ability to guide customers and spot opportunities for growth.

This salary range for this position will be between $70,000.00 CAD - $90,000.00 CAD.

Compensation

$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
