The Opportunity
VoPay is seeking a highly strategic and technically proficient Manager of Partner Integrations & Delivery to drive our regional and global expansion efforts. Working entirely onsite at our Vancouver headquarters, this role sits at the critical intersection of strategic growth, technical architecture, and execution. You will act as the core liaison between global payment networks, banking partners, and VoPay's internal teams to ensure complex integrations are evaluated, negotiated, designed, and seamlessly delivered to the market.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Partner Engagement 
  • Collaborate with VoPay's growth and strategic teams to meet with major global vendors and partners to evaluate regional and global expansion opportunities.
  • Work closely with VoPay’s executive team to develop comprehensive business cases for new partnerships, clearly highlighting the true Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Return on Investment (ROI).
  • Support VoPay’s alliances team by facilitating communication between external vendors and internal legal/finance teams to successfully negotiate and finalize integration contracts.

Solution Architecture & Due Diligence
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with prospective partners and VoPay's internal engineering, product, and compliance teams to conduct thorough technical and operational due diligence.
  • Develop high-level solution designs and technical architectures to help internal stakeholders clearly visualize and understand the proposed integration frameworks and data flows.

Delivery Management & Execution
  • Acting as the primary Delivery Manager, take full ownership of the integration project once partnership alignment is achieved.
  • Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, ensuring the team's success in delivering integrations on agreed timelines, quality standards, and budgets.
  • Drive collaboration across the vendor/partner and VoPay’s product, engineering, marketing, and compliance teams to complete the technology integration and ensure Go-To-Market (GTM) readiness.

Project & Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the central point of contact for all assigned integration projects and deliverables.
  • Facilitate proactive, transparent communication and relationship management with both internal cross-functional teams and external C-level partner stakeholders.
  • Identify, communicate, and resolve project-related risks, impediments, and technical challenges swiftly.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Mandatory: Minimum 10 years of experience managing complex, concurrent technical projects within a Software as a Service (SaaS) business model.
  • Extensive domain expertise in the payments and banking industry, including deep knowledge of credit card networks, multi-rail payment infrastructures, and embedded finance ecosystems.
  • Strong understanding of global payment industry regulations, risk frameworks, and compliance standards.
  • Proven technical ability to understand SaaS product architecture, RESTful APIs, and cloud solutions, coupled with the ability to build and present high-level solution designs.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, with the ability to adapt and adopt the methodologies to the environment.
  • Knowledge and experience with project management software.
  • Extensive experience with DevOps and Agile software development processes, heavily utilizing tools like JIRA and Confluence.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder technical projects from initial discovery through to GTM launch.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with a track record of successfully negotiating and collaborating with major financial institutions or global payment networks.
  • Ability to bridge the gap between business objectives and technical realities, communicating effectively with both executive leadership and engineering teams.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced fintech startup or corporate environment managing vendor due diligence and integration delivery.

Compensation

$110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
