The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead our efforts in acquiring and engaging high-profile leads, particularly software applications and SaaS companies. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, attending industry conferences, managing inbound leads, and collaborating closely with Account Executives (AEs) to convert qualified prospects into long-term customers.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Proactively identify and engage high-profile software applications and SaaS businesses that can benefit from VoPay’s embedded payments solutions.
  • Conference & Event Engagement: Represent VoPay at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to establish relationships and generate new business leads.
  • Inbound Lead Management: Qualify inbound leads, assess their potential, and effectively hand them over to the Account Executives for closing.
  • Market Research & Strategy: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to refine outreach strategies.
  • Sales Outreach: Conduct outreach via email, LinkedIn, and other digital channels to engage decision-makers and showcase VoPay’s value proposition.
  • Collaboration with Sales Team: Work closely with Account Executives to ensure seamless lead handoff and follow-through on key opportunities.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales or business development with a strong track record of prospecting and lead generation.
  • Experience targeting software platforms, ISVs, or fintech companies is highly preferred.
  • Strong ability to engage with C-level executives and key stakeholders to drive new business.
  • Proven success in generating and nurturing leads through events, online channels, and outbound strategies.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, strategic thinker with a hunter mentality and a results-driven approach.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Compensation

$85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
