The Opportunity
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will report directly to the Director of People Operations. This position is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and selecting talented people to join the VoPay team. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be flexible and adaptable to change while contributing to the development of effective recruitment strategies and implementing them along with promoting the VoPay brand, building a solid talent pipeline, and ensures that the candidate experience is positive throughout the entire hiring process.
 
Responsibilities
·        Conduct recruitment planning and research to support recruitment strategy development and execution.
·        Prepare and post job vacancies, sources qualified candidates directly and indirectly or passively utilizing various job boards, networking sites,
social media, and other channels.
·        Provide full-cycle recruitment support, including sourcing, screening, pre-screening, interviewing, and testing administration.
·        Conduct reference checks and background checks.
·        Prepare offer letters following the company processes and applicant tracking system.
·        Building strong relationships with active and passive candidates for current and future opportunities.
·        Ensure compliance, relevant legislation and bona fide occupational requirements.
·        Prepare employee file a point of hire with all required documentation to be distributed to appropriate departments.
·        Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and ensuring compliance with data protection laws.
·        Monitor and analyzing recruitment metrics to continuously improve the talent acquisition process.
·        Support the development of the team building activities, employer branding, employee engagement, and recognition programs.
·        Stay informed on industry trends and emerging recruitment technologies.
·        Other duties as required.
 
Skills & Qualifications
-         Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Human Resources.
-         Minimum 2 years experience in a related role working in Fintech or a SaaS environment.
-         RPR or CPHR certification in good standing or near to completion.
-         Intermediate proficiency with Google Suite and Slack
-         Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for screening and interviewing applicants, researching, and conducting trend analysis
-         Customer service-oriented relationship builder, collaborator and team player
-         Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to take direction and follow through on tasks.
-         Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and direction.
-         Self motivated, organized and thrive in fast paced environments

The salary range for this position will be between $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 CAD.

Compensation

$59,997.00 - $70,000.00 per year
