We are looking for a hands-on, tech-savvy Accounting Manager to lead our core financial operations, manage payroll and commissions, and support financial reporting and forecasting. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys both structure and innovation.
This is a full-time, 100% in-office role based in our Vancouver headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Manage the semi-monthly payroll process, ensuring compliance with CRA and provincial regulations
- Administer employee benefits, deductions, and respond to payroll-related inquiries
- Maintain payroll records and deliver timely payroll reports to management
Commission Management
- Own the monthly commission calculation process for the sales team
- Review monthly partner commission statements, accrue related expenses in the general ledger, and coordinate quarterly commission payments
- Collaborate with Sales and Revenue Operations to validate metrics and ensure accuracy
- Present reports and insights to the executive team
Financial Reporting & Support
- Support the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Prepare and update budgets and financial model forecasts, and perform detailed variance analysis
- Assist with regulatory filings, audit support, and internal control documentation
- Work closely with the CFO to deliver timely and accurate financial reporting
Accounting Operations & Optimization
- Maintain accurate general ledger and sub-ledger records
- Oversee AP/AR, employee reimbursements, and accruals
- Drive continuous improvements in accounting processes and leverage cloud-based tools for automation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a fintech, SaaS, or high-growth company
- CPA designation (completed or in final stages of completion) is a strong asset
- Deep understanding of Canadian GAAP and payroll compliance
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.), and digital workflow tools
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, in-office team environment

Compensation
$80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
