Senior Marketing Operations Manager
Vancouver, BC | Full-Time, On-Site
About VoPay International Inc.
VoPay’s Fintech-as-a-Service platform enables businesses to embed financial services and payment capabilities into their existing applications, products, or services through a single, scalable API.
As VoPay continues to expand across North America and international markets, we are building a sophisticated B2B marketing organization to support our brand, products, sales organization, partnerships, customers, and commercial growth.
The Opportunity
VoPay is seeking a highly organized, hands-on Senior Marketing Operations Manager to help drive the execution and operational effectiveness of our global B2B marketing organization.
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role will serve as a key connection point between Marketing, Product, Sales, Partnerships, and Commercial Operations, ensuring marketing priorities are translated into coordinated campaigns, compelling content, effective sales materials, strong product positioning, executive presentations, events, and measurable market-facing programs.
This is not a purely administrative marketing-operations role. We are looking for an experienced B2B SaaS marketer and operator who understands the full marketing toolbox and can move comfortably between strategy and execution.
The successful candidate will understand how Product, Sales, and Marketing work together within a B2B SaaS organization and will be capable of taking an initiative from concept through execution, measurement, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Operations & Execution
- Partner with the CMO to translate marketing and commercial priorities into executable plans, campaigns, deliverables, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
- Own the operational rhythm of the marketing organization, ensuring initiatives have clear objectives, owners, deadlines, dependencies, approvals, and success metrics.
- Manage marketing projects and workflows through Jira and other relevant marketing tools.
- Build and maintain marketing calendars covering campaigns, product launches, content, events, communications, partnerships, and major commercial initiatives.
- Identify stalled projects, execution gaps, unclear ownership, missed deadlines, and cross-functional dependencies before they impact delivery.
- Develop and maintain marketing SOPs, campaign processes, approval workflows, templates, and brand standards.
- Continuously evaluate the marketing technology and operational toolbox required to improve the effectiveness and scalability of the marketing function.
B2B Campaign Management
- Plan and execute integrated B2B campaigns supporting products, industries, partnerships, strategic accounts, and commercial priorities.
- Develop campaign briefs defining target audiences, positioning, messaging, channels, assets, calls to action, timelines, and success metrics.
- Coordinate campaign execution across website, email, social media, content, events, outbound programs, partnerships, and sales enablement.
- Work with Sales to understand target accounts, buyer personas, commercial priorities, and pipeline objectives.
- Ensure campaigns are designed around the realities of a B2B SaaS buying journey and longer enterprise sales cycles.
- Track campaign performance and translate results into actionable recommendations for future programs.
Product Marketing & Go-to-Market
- Work closely with Product teams to understand product capabilities, releases, roadmaps, customer use cases, and market opportunities.
- Translate technical capabilities into clear customer value propositions, positioning, messaging, and market-facing narratives.
- Support product launches and go-to-market initiatives from planning through execution.
- Develop product messaging frameworks, solution briefs, landing pages, presentations, sales collateral, campaign materials, and launch communications.
- Maintain alignment between how Product describes the platform, how Marketing positions it, and how Sales presents it to customers.
- Conduct competitive and market analysis to identify emerging themes, competitor positioning, messaging opportunities, and market gaps.
Sales Enablement & Presentations
- Partner closely with Sales and Commercial teams to understand what materials and messaging are required throughout the sales process.
- Develop and maintain high-quality corporate presentations, product decks, solution presentations, industry-specific materials, case studies, one-pagers, and other sales-enablement assets.
- Support strategic pitches, executive presentations, partnership discussions, and major customer opportunities.
- Ensure presentations and sales materials communicate complex products in a clear, compelling, and commercially relevant way.
- Establish a structured library of current, approved, and reusable marketing and sales materials.
Content, Brand & Communications
- Manage the content calendar across corporate, product, industry, customer, and thought-leadership themes.
- Write and edit high-quality website content, articles, reports, executive communications, campaign copy, presentations, product messaging, and sales collateral.
- Coordinate corporate and executive social media calendars, particularly LinkedIn.
- Support corporate communications, press releases, executive commentary, award submissions, and industry opportunities.
- Maintain consistency of brand positioning, terminology, messaging, and visual standards across all customer-facing channels.
- Coordinate internal creative resources and external agencies to deliver high-quality marketing assets.
- Support the development of video and multimedia content for product education, campaigns, thought leadership, and brand awareness.
Marketing Technology, Data & Performance
- Help develop and optimize the marketing technology stack required to support a modern B2B SaaS marketing organization.
- Work with Sales and Commercial Operations to improve alignment between marketing activity, lead generation, account engagement, pipeline, and revenue.
- Establish practical reporting for campaigns, content, digital channels, events, and other marketing initiatives.
- Monitor website traffic, engagement, campaign performance, conversion, social performance, and other relevant marketing KPIs.
- Use data to identify what is working, what is not, and where marketing resources should be focused.
- Support continuous improvement of lead-management, campaign-tracking, attribution, and reporting processes.
Events & Strategic Initiatives
- Support conferences, trade shows, customer events, executive events, webinars, and international marketing initiatives.
- Coordinate event messaging, presentations, sponsorship deliverables, speaker participation, campaigns, and post-event follow-up.
- Provide hands-on support for strategic or time-sensitive initiatives led by the CMO or executive team.
- Be available for occasional travel and non-standard working hours when supporting major events, launches, or international initiatives.
How Success Will Be Measured
Success in this role will include:
- Marketing initiatives consistently moving from strategy to execution on time and at a high standard.
- Strong operational alignment between Marketing, Product, Sales, and Commercial Operations.
- Effective execution and measurement of integrated B2B campaigns.
- Stronger product positioning and go-to-market execution.
- High-quality and consistently maintained sales presentations and enablement materials.
- Improved visibility into marketing activities, performance, priorities, and ROI.
- Increased engagement from target accounts and audiences.
- Strong execution of product launches, events, campaigns, and strategic initiatives.
- Improved marketing processes, Jira organization, accountability, and documentation.
- Consistent brand and messaging standards across all customer-facing channels.
Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience, preferably within B2B SaaS, enterprise software, technology, or another complex B2B environment.
- Strong understanding of how Marketing, Product, and Sales work together within a B2B SaaS organization.
- Demonstrated experience managing integrated B2B marketing campaigns from concept through execution and measurement.
- Experience with product marketing, go-to-market programs, positioning, messaging, and sales enablement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation-development capabilities, with experience creating executive, corporate, product, and sales presentations.
- Experience with modern marketing platforms, CRM systems, project-management tools, analytics, email marketing, content management, and related marketing technologies.
- Experience with Jira or comparable project-management platforms.
- Strong understanding of B2B customer journeys, buyer personas, account targeting, lead generation, pipeline development, and longer enterprise sales cycles.
- Ability to interpret marketing data and translate performance into practical actions.
- Strong project-management capabilities and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience coordinating internal creative resources, external agencies, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality execution.
- Comfortable working directly with senior executives and translating high-level direction into finished deliverables.
- A highly practical, hands-on working style with the willingness to personally write, build, coordinate, analyze, and execute.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment with changing priorities and international stakeholders.
The Profile We Are Looking For
This role is best suited to someone who thinks like a B2B marketer but operates like a project owner.
You understand the marketing toolbox, but you are not limited to one discipline. You can sit with Product to understand a new capability, turn it into a compelling market proposition, work with Sales on how to present it, coordinate the campaign, build the required content and presentations, manage execution across multiple channels, and then measure whether it worked.
You are equally comfortable discussing strategy with the CMO, working through product messaging with a Product Manager, building a presentation for Sales, coordinating an agency, reviewing campaign performance, or opening Jira to make sure the work actually gets delivered.
Compensation
