The Opportunity
This is not a traditional sales operations role. We are looking for a highly analytical and operational leader who thrives in fast-growing technology companies and enjoys building systems, processes, and commercial frameworks from the ground up. You will work directly with executive leadership and play a critical role in designing and operating the commercial engine of the company. This includes ownership of pricing frameworks, forecasting, pipeline management, contract workflows, reporting, sales processes, and revenue intelligence. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with strong execution and is comfortable rolling up their sleeves to solve problems and implement solutions.

Responsibilities
Commercial Operations
  • Build and manage VoPay's commercial operating framework
  • Develop scalable processes supporting sales, partnerships, customer success, and revenue growth
  • Establish operational standards, workflows, and best practices across the commercial organization
  • Create and maintain commercial policies, procedures, and governance frameworks

Sales & Pipeline Management
  • Own pipeline reporting, forecasting, and sales analytics
  • Establish forecasting methodologies and reporting standards
  • Monitor pipeline health and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates
  • Support territory planning and account prioritization
  • Drive CRM discipline and process optimization

Pricing & Deal Desk
  • Develop pricing models and commercial frameworks
  • Support complex enterprise pricing discussions and proposal development
  • Review and structure commercial terms and deal economics
  • Partner with leadership on strategic opportunities and large enterprise transactions
  • Maintain consistency across pricing, packaging, and contract structures

Revenue Intelligence & Reporting
  • Develop executive dashboards and performance reporting
  • Create visibility into revenue trends, customer growth, partner performance, and commercial KPIs
  • Build reporting structures that support management, board, and investor reporting
  • Deliver insights that improve decision-making and resource allocation

Contracts & Commercial Governance
  • Coordinate contract management processes
  • Support contract negotiations and approval workflows
  • Ensure consistency across customer agreements and commercial terms
  • Work closely with legal, finance, and executive leadership on commercial transactions

Enablement & Process Improvement
  • Build sales playbooks, templates, and operating procedures
  • Improve internal systems and automation
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions
  • Support onboarding and enablement of commercial team members

Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in Commercial Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Operations, Strategy & Operations, Sales Operations, or related roles
  • Experience within SaaS, software, technology, fintech, payments, or platform businesses
  • Proven experience building operational frameworks and processes in high-growth environments
  • Experience supporting enterprise sales organizations and complex B2B sales cycles
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models, recurring revenue, customer lifecycle management, and commercial metrics

Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a Series A, Series B, or growth-stage technology company
  • Exposure to fintech, payments, embedded finance, banking technology, or API-driven businesses
  • Experience with CRM systems, forecasting tools, reporting platforms, and commercial analytics
  • Experience supporting partnership and channel sales models

Within the first 12 months, you will:
  • Establish a scalable commercial operating framework
  • Improve forecasting accuracy and pipeline visibility
  • Standardize pricing and proposal processes
  • Implement executive-level reporting and KPI dashboards
  • Improve contract and deal approval workflows
  • Create operational efficiencies that support revenue growth
  • Become a trusted partner to executive leadership on commercial strategy and execution

Compensation

$140,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
